Gigg Lane Commemoration Service

Gigg Lane Commemoration Service, Sun 28th Apr, 3pm

Ahead of the works to lay the 3G pitch this summer, a commemoration service will be held in honour of fans of the past, who's ashes are present at Gigg Lane.

All are welcome to pay their respects, with the service taking place from 3pm, lead by the Rector of Bury Parish Church.

We will also be joined by soloist, Sean Ruane from Rawtenstall who adds Gigg Lane to his many performance venues, which includes following England’s sporting sides around the world.

The choir will be directed by Dan McDwyer, drawing singers from the Greater Manchester area for this special event.
